Europeans rejoice! Acoording to what Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO Jim Ryan told GameReactor in an interview you should all see, more titles will be unveiled at Gamescom.
“I’m sure you heard from [SCE Worldwide Studios boss] Shu [Yoshida] that he has—just his studios—he has 30 games in development. 20 of them are going to ship within the first year of the console’s life, and of those, 12 are new IP.
“So there’s a lot going on, it’s just that we need to keep stuff back. We’ve got Gamescom for us Europeans—we need to have something to show at Gamescom, don’t we?”
Well, so we got 20 exclusives coming in the first year of the PS4 and 12 of them are new IPs… That’s impressive! Microsoft has revealed 15 exclusives for its first year, 8 of them being new IPs. Looks like Sony has the strength in numbers, but will they be good games? Truth be told, their exclusives tend to be pretty good…
